We are looking for an organized and highly motivated individual who is an excellent communicator and ready to take on all aspects of managing full service breakfast and lunch kitchen. From working the line to training the team on a new menu roll out and overseeing day to day completion of standard work. The KM holds kitchen operations together while also juggling excellency in other specific roles. A successful kitchen manager will constantly strive to meet all product, cleanliness and hospitality standards and communicate with their team on how to uphold our mission.


  • Product Knowledge - Develop and cultivate a strong knowledge of our products so that you can prepare quickly and to Drift standards
  • Production Management - Receive and fulfill orders within due time to the Drift standards so that our guest experience is positively memorable
  • Sanitation and Organization - Understand and complete all Department of Health policies correctly and maintain cleanliness of the space to Drift’s standard
  • Completing assigned tasks on time - Striving to complete assigned tasks on time in order to help maintain the day to day operations within your team
  • Operations Management - Plan and direct your team to accomplish primary and secondary responsibilities
  • Uphold Food Standards - Oversee brand standards to ensure a positive experience for our guest and teams alike
  • Oversee Stock of supplies - manage and order all supplies and ingredients necessary
  • Training - train and develop all BOH team members on all parts of the operation
  • Equipment and Quality - resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Authentic hospitality - deliver exceptional service in your interaction with guests

You Have:

  • 4+ years’ experience in restaurant management
  • Experience in fast casual restaurant chains (preferred)
  • Managed and developed 10+ team members per shift
  • Experience in P&L, COGS, Developing Budgets, Financial Planning and Strategy, Decision Making, Process Improvement, Strategic Planning, Labor/Scheduling, Training & Team Development, Quality Focus
  • Experience in Food Safety + Planning
  • Manager’s Food Safety Certification required (ServSafe Manager’s Certification)
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage + labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities
  • Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
