Wax & Wine

Date: Thursday August 6th

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

At our wine tastings, we will be featuring four new wines for your tasting pleasure. The curated selection each week is sure to broaden ones vino lore. Not only is it fun & free, its slightly educational!
Come join us as we spin some records and taste some fun wines. If wine is not your thing we have some great beers to enjoy too.

Thursday Eve, another Wax and Wine event will begin at 7:00 (that’s pm).
We will be tasting delightful wines of New Zealand, where cool and crisp mountains meet the pacific.

Our first is a return, Echo Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough. This bright, fun loving has zesty citrus aromas with the flavor of passion fruit, grapefruit and gooseberry with a clean finish of the sea.

Next is Peregrine Pinot Gris of Central Atoga. This delicately scented wine has pure cherry, mineral and subtle spice. A light wine with a pleasing freshness.

Sileni Pinot Noir from from Hawkes Bay has a nose of black cherries and dark berry, with a palate that follows backed by silky tannins.

Finally, Mohua Pinot Noir from Central Atoga. A silky smooth Pinot Noir layered with fine tannins, but sturdy red fruits, strawberry and spice. One you might want to hold onto for a few years.
